Adams Pool Solutions – Renovation Process

1. Draining the swimming pool and beginning to remove old coping.
2. Removing the old tile.
3. Saw-cutting the deck to provide needed spacing from pool beam.
4. Installing”bats” to level the pool, planning tile and coping installation.
5. Preparing swimming pool “bond beam” for tile and coping installation.
6. Installing brick coping.
7. Installing tile.
8. Preparing swimming pool for application of new surface.
9. Applying the new finish (plaster or Pebble Tec©.)
10. Hand troweling new finish (plaster or Pebble Tec©.)
11. Completing installation of Pebble Tec© surface.
12. Final washing of Pebble Tec© surface (Not required for plaster finish).

Q. How long will it take to remodel my pool?

A. That depends on the extent of the work. Pools that are being refinished with plaster or PebbleTec/Sheen® can be operational in ten days or less. New tile and coping, or an extensive remodel obviously takes more time. Keep in mind that, with appropriate precautions, pools can be remodeled during winter, so your family won’t miss out on any of the swimming season. And, since winter is less busy for us, it can be easier to get your desired scheduling. Be assured that Adams Pool Solutions is dedicated to completing your project in a timely manner.
